It appears that nothing is more American or causes more heated controversy than shooting. Whether it is with a rifle, pistol, revolver or shotgun, for self defense, hunting, organized sport or just plain target shooting, emotions often run hot and tempers flare when defending the right to own, posses and use firearms or to ban or limit their possession or use.  Here we will examine the controversy as it is played out, and we will, of course, also shoot rifles, pistols, revolvers, and of course shotguns.
