Two boomers confront bullying and harassment
Two baby boomers, mindful of what they learned long ago when they were in school, have teamed up to examine a dual trend that has only gotten worse: bullying and sexual harassment. “We might be past the point of being the victims, but we have kids, we have grandkids, and there’s something everyone needs to know.”

Memories of Christmas morning long ago
If memories of Christmas mornings in our childhoods are lost, Eric Mondschein, who lives in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York and author of Life at 12 College Road, makes up for it. He has memories that probably parallel most boomers’ — except for a not-so-happy ending. That’s the short story he gives to BoomerCafé this season: “Christmas Morning.”

Confronting sexual harassment and bullying: an uncomfortable necessity
Confronting sexual harassment and bullying is an uncomfortable necessity. Schools are primarily places for learning. We must always remember that the goal is to create an educational environment that allows each student to feel safe and secure. Provided is the 2014 update of “Sexual Harassment and Bullying: Similar, but Not the Same,” an article presented at the Education Law Association’s 60th Annual Conference.
